14 promos of YMI thrown out by Censor!
August 22nd, 2009 - 10:43 am ICT by Sampurn WireThe maker of Tezaab N Chandra is all set with his forthcoming directorial venture Yeh Mera India. Although the film has got an “A’ certificate from censor board, however, the promos seem to be in a big soup. If sources are to be believed, it is only four out of 18 promos originally submitted, which have got a clean chit from the censor board.
Confirms one of the main leads of the film- Smilie Suri, “It’s simply ridiculous. The film was categorized in the “A’ list, so then what’s wrong with the promos. There is no vulgarity in the film, I wonder what made censor board take this decision. Nevertheless, it is a good omen for me. Kalyug too faced the same situation as far as promos are concerned, and it turned out to be a hit. I hope the same works for YMI.”
Surprisingly and interestingly, the four promos chosen by censor board feature only Smilie. The film is slated for a release on August 28, 2009.
