110 designers to participate in WIFW SS 2010

The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) has announced the names of the designers participating in the event from October 24-28, 2009 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. A total of 110 designers will be participating in the event.
The event will bring together many fashion designers and their designs under one roof. Delhi designers Ashish Soni, Rohit Bal, Tarun Tahilliani, etc. will be at the event. Mumbai designers Wendell Rodricks and Narendra Kumar will be opening the WIFW SS 2010. Ritu Beri and Suneet Verma will also be part of the show. WIFW SS 2010 will see a lot of talent and some of the best of India’s fashion industry. It will also feature many debut designers who know the right way to blend creativity with commerciality.
Sunil Sethi, the president of the FDCI, stated that they wish to offer chances to many debutant designers through this platform and they hope that the designers use this opportunity to move ahead in their careers.
