1,023 Sena workers arrested for ‘MNIK’ trouble

Mumbai, Feb 10 (IANS) More than 1,000 Shiv Sena activists have been arrested for vandalising cinema halls and multiplexes that will screen Shah Rukh Khan starrer “My Name Is Khan”, officials here said Wednesday.
Till Wednesday morning, 1,023 Sena workers had been arrested under various charges like rioting, damaging property, unlawful assembly and trespass. They had also attacked Broadway cinema at Kandivalli East in the city.
