1-800-Flowers President Chris McCann Goes Undercover In The Finale Episode of “Undercover Boss”

Apr 12, (THAINDIAN NEWS) CBS reality show “Undercover Boss” season finale got all the more interesting in the last episode which was aired on Sunday, Apr 11. The chosen boss to go undercover for the show was none other than the famous floral gift retailer and distributor company “1-800-Flowers” President Chris McCann.
Chris McCann was seen in the show trying to figure out the drawbacks of his company. He enters the company as Patrick O’Reilly and during the show he visits the company’s branches in Ohio, New Jersey, and Boston and some others. In each and every stop something different is in store for the ‘undercover’ boss. In New Jersey, while Chris McCann helped Pauline to arrange flowers he also asked naive questions, to which Pauline vented her frustration and voiced how the company does not encourage new ideas and has become outdated. She also added that many designers like her are frustrated by working with the same old things every day of the year. This was one of the revelations it seemed the boss did not like to hear.
In Ohio which was his next stop, Chris McCann works in the chocolate factory and after some lighthearted moment comes another blow, as one worker says that the target set by the boss are impractical. However the show gets interesting as Chris McCann reveals his true identity in the midst of the show. However, the General Manager who could have been a spoilsport was taken under confidence by Chris McCann. The episode was able to hold on to the interest of the audience who found the journey of the boss in the show interesting.
