‘Sidhu Plus Two First Attempt’ Movie Review: Shanthanoo And His Father Deliver And Impress

Another small budget film from the Tamil film industry, ‘Sidhu Plus Two First Attempt’ nevertheless comes with a lot of expectations because it had been promoted well. And also because everybody will be waiting to watch how Shanthanu Bhagyaraj fares in his father Bhagyaraj’s film. If initial reactions are anything to go by, Shanthanoo has done well and suits his character in the youthful romantic film to the T.
‘Sidhu Plus Two First Attempt’ is a film which tells the story of a young boy and girl who have fled their homes after having failed to clear the higher secondary examinations in school. The boy and the girl live in different cities but meet at the same place after running away from home. While both are on the verge of ending their lives, it is after they have struck a beautiful friendship and subsequently love that the duo realize that they will lose a beautiful life together if they end it here.
The film has a feel good aura to it and is therefore good to watch. Since ‘Sidhu Plus Two First Attempt’ is a youthful romance, the songs in the Kollywood flick are also very melodious and breezy. Bhagyaraj has done a good job in direction, just like he did with all the screenplays in earlier Tamil flicks. While the music is already a chartbuster, it is to be seen whether the film turns out to be a blockbuster.
