‘Saturday Night Live’ Back With Jim Carrey And The Black Keys

The Hollywood film may have bombed at the box office, but has received positive reviews from critics and has also been nominated in the Best Comedy category of the 16th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards. Jim Carrey plays a homosexual character in the film who shuns his wife after he realizes that he is in love with Phillip Morris. The Black Keys on the other hand will be present on the sets of ‘Saturday Night Live’ as the musical guests of the inaugural episode to be broadcast on the 8th of January.
The Black Keys are currently on a professional high after their ‘Brothers’ was declared the best album of the year by iTunes. The album was also placed at the second position in the Billboard’s Top 200 music chart. With stalwarts like Jim Carrey and The Black Keys, the first SNL episode this season sounds like a sure hit. ‘Saturday Night Live’ goes on air in the NBC network.
