December 2, 2010 (Showbiz PR Wire): As the ‘Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader’ gears up for release in India on the 3rd Dec (a week prior to the US), audiences have one more reason to watch this 3D extravaganza as this might be the last film starring Lucy & Edmund.

In the final parts of the book, ‘The Voyage of the Dawn Treader’ by C. S. Lewis, Aslan (the lion) tells Edmund and Lucy that they will not return to Narnia and then sends them home; which means that the journey of the 2 characters ends with the third novel.

Starting off as the youngest two of the four Pevensie siblings in ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’, Lucy & Edmund reach the final stage of their journey through the Narnia series with this 3rd film.

Confirming this piece of news, Georgie (Lucy) says; “It’s definitely the last film in which I’ll be playing Lucy and I do feel sad because I’ve had such a great time making these films and playing Lucy has certainly helped my career. It’s been a great opportunity but I am also looking forward to doing other things hopefully and you can’t play one part for the rest of your life. There has to be an end. And also, I love the way that she’s sent off in the film—if you’re going to go, you’ve got to have a good send off, and I love the way that it’s done in the film.”

Talking about his Narnian experience, Skandar Keynes says, : It’s been great for me. I’ve learned so much from working on these films and I feel very lucky to have been a part of them. And actually, I’m very sad that it’s come to an end for me but it’s been fantastic.”
