‘Journey 2: The Mysterious Island’ Reveals Exclusive Set Details

‘Journey 2: The Mysterious Island’ with Brad Peyton behind the cameras is still at its filming stage and will hit theaters in the US after the end of the American holiday season. The cast and crew members who are now shooting in Hawaii got into a chatty mood with the media, also giving out secret details of the sequel and a glimpse into the sets being built for the fantasy action film.

Talking to the media were lead actors Josh Hutcherson and Vanessa Hudgens who not only spoke about their respective roles in the movie and the accidents that they had to suffer while working on the film but also led the media cameras to a set being built in Hawaii for later stages of filming work. The set shows a cave, and this detail had been kept under wraps since the beginning of filming ‘

Serving behind the lens for this “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island’. This time too actors Josh Hutcherson and Vanessa Hudgens do not reveal too much of the secret details, only allowing media cameras to proceed as far as the mouth of the tunnel which leads into the false cave!

‘Journey 2: The Mysterious Island’ is a sequel to the 2008 film ‘Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D’. the sequel too will be in 3D format and is scheduled to release in the fall season of next year. Josh Hutcherson plays Sean in the film, a man who arrives at the mystifying island in search of his grandfather. Vanessa Hudgens portrays the role of a Pacific Islander who helps Sean in his search only to fall in love with him at the end.
