October 14, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin became the target of angry cinemagoers during the screening of a film recently at the Hamptons Film Festival. The people present there demonstarted their anger by throwing candies. Reports by the theater authorities claim that Alec Baldwin was thrown candies at because he used his cell phone inside the movie theater, a habit which was disturbing to the audience present at the screening. However the same source also points out that the actor was quick to make amends as soon as he realized that his speaking over the phone was disturbing his fans and the audience.
 
Alec Baldwin was one among many other actors present at the Hamptons Film Festival over the weekend to attend the special screening of “Blue Valentine”. The film festival has emerged as one of the most famous events held in New York every year, showcasing some of the best films made in the industry every year.
 
The incident took place this Saturday night when Alec Baldwin was spotted using his phone many a times during the screening. A source says that it was not only the sound but also the light from the actor’s phone which disturbed the audience inside the theater in New York. It was an attendee of the theater who gave vent to his anger by throwing a candy towards Baldwin. Last heard, Alec Baldwin decided to make amends as soon as he realized that he was the cause of disturbance and stopped using his phone.
