Zardari visits Shanghai Expo
July 10th, 2010 - 10:29 pm ICT by IANSShanghai, July 10 (IANS) Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari concluded his five-day visit to China after visiting the World Expo in Shanghai Saturday evening.
Zardari visited both the Pakistani and Chinese pavilions, and said he had “learned a lot” from China’s new developments, Xinhua reported.
Shanghai Mayor Han Zheng met with Zardari and thanked him for Pakistan’s support to the Expo.
Addressing an alternative energy forum earlier, Zardari said the Pakistan-China cooperation in the alternative energy sector would not only help Pakistan in its economic and social development, but also expand market for Chinese business houses.
This was Zardari’s fifth visit to China since taking office in September 2008.
