Yahoo India wants partners for regional content
November 15th, 2010 - 6:56 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 15 (IANS) The Indian unit of internet major Yahoo Inc Monday said it was looking for regional language content partners in India to generate content in six regional languages by 2011.
“By next year we plan to have content in up to six regional language…we are looking for partners,” said Arun Tadanki, managing director Yahoo India, on the sidelines of the India Economic Summit here.
“We see huge opportunity in regional language content,” he added.
Currently, besides English, Yahoo India also publishes content in Hindi in partnership with media firm Dainik Jagran.
