The bottle nicknamed “Diamond’s Law” by Hacienda La Capilla company was made by around 20 to 30 people, Fox News reported Friday.
The company had earlier sold a bottle for $225,000 in 1996, that still holds the current Guinness world record for being the most expensive bottle of tequila.
Its latest creation will go on a world tour of “tequila-appreciating hotspots”, including London, Paris, Switzerland, Spain, Monaco and Dubai, a statement said.
