World’s fastest car Bugatti Veyron launched in India
October 28th, 2010 - 9:38 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 28 (IANS) Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport, called the world’s fastest car, has made its debut in India.
Priced at Rs.16 crore (ex-showroom Delhi), Buggatti is the third major luxury brand from the stables of the Volkswagen group after Bentley and Lamborghini.
“India is a growing market for luxury and hence it was a conscious decision for us to launch Bugatti here,” said Julius Kruta, Head of Tradition, Bugatti Automobiles SAS.
Other than its famous “fastest car” tag, the Bugatti Veyron is powered by a 8 litre, 16-cylinder engine with 64 valves, 4 turbo chargers and 12 radiators.
It combines state-of-the-art technology and the beauty of a convertible, and can reach a top speed of 407 km per hour.
The super premium sports car will be available at Exclusive Motors in the national capital.
