World Bank to fund Himachal roads
January 23rd, 2012 - 10:43 pm ICT by IANSShimla, Jan 23 (IANS) The World Bank has decided to fund 35 road and bridge construction projects in Himachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal said Monday.
He said a communication in this regard was received from central Minister for Rural Development S. Jairam Ramesh.
The chief minister said in a statement that Rs.74.24 crore would be provided for the projects including 10 in Hamirpur zone and nine in Shimla zone.
