Wipro net up 14 percent in fourth quarter
April 27th, 2011 - 11:34 am ICT by IANSBangalore, April 27 (IANS) Wipro Wednesday reported net profit of Rs.1,375 crore (Rs.13.8 billion) for the fourth quarter (January-March) of fiscal 2010-11, registering 14 percent year-on-year (YoY) growth.
In a regulatory filing Wednesday, the IT bellwether said total revenue for the quarter under review (Q4) was Rs.8,302 crore (Rs.83 billion), an increase of 18 percent YoY.
Under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), net income is $309 million and total revenue $1.86 billion.
Revenue from the company’s global IT services business was Rs.6,289 crore (Rs.62.9 billion), up 20 percent YoY.
