Wipro bags customer excellence award

Bangalore, Nov 29 (IANS) Wipro Infotech Tuesday announced it has won the SAP Ace award for customer excellence in 2011.

The Ace awards, instituted by the German maker (SAP AG) of enterprise business software, are industry benchmark given to best-run corporations in the Indian sub-continent using its platforms and tools such as Sybase.

The Sybase solution ensures compliance with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification and works real-time on SAP platform for end-to-end integration.

“Our genie mobile CRM (customer relationship management) has enabled field engineers to update assigned calls in real time and adhere to their firm’s service level agreements (SLAs) with its customers,” Wipro enterprise services vice-president Anuj Bhalla said in a statement here.

The company’s CRM tool captures digital signature of the customer’s call on a smart form built into the field engineer’s mobile and generates an e-mail to the customer’s inbox, intimating call closure.

“The genie mobile CRM has empowered field engineers in delivering prompt services to clients and increased customer satisfaction,” Bhalla said.
