The mobile phone company ‘Vodafone’ would spend New Zealand $50 million and it is to provide a quarter of the country’s population a fixed line phone services.
Vodafone also said by October 2008 they will be able to provide the fixed phone line service to all of Auckland New Zealand city which is about quarter of 4 million of the population. Expansion will be followed automatically.
Vodafone is Telecom’s main competitor for mobile services.
