Visitors’ quality excellent at digital media trade show: SurveyJanuary 16th, 2009 - 8:58 pm ICT by IANS
New Delhi, Jan 16 (IANS) The quality of visitors to the Broadcast Asia 2008 digital media trade show held in Singapore last June was ‘good to excellent’, according to a survey conducted by an industry forum. “Exhibitors agreed that they had met quality groups of industry players, which led to a large number of relevant enquiries for their products,” a survey by International Association of Broadcast Manufacturers (IABM) said.
IABM said exhibitors appreciated the organisers’ move to segment visitors by industry relevance that “boosted the calibre of attendees as a result”.
“Broadcast Asia provided us with a powerful medium to showcase our latest products while reaching out to a pan-Asian audience. The presence of a wide spectrum of regional media has generated a lot of enquiries for us,” said Mark Wilson Dunn, executive vice president of digital media solutions provider BT Media and Broadcast.
The next edition will be held in Singapore June 16-19 this year.
