Vijay Setia elected rice exporters association president
June 3rd, 2010 - 4:46 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, June 3 (IANS) Vijay Setia, managing director of Chamanlal Setia Exports Ltd, was Thursday elected unanimously as president of All India Rice Exporters Association (AIREA).
“Setia was elected for a two-year term from 2010 to 2012. Setia succeeds Vijay Arora, managing director of LT overseas, who served as the president from 2009,” said the association in a statement.
Mohinder Pal Jindal, managing director, Best Foods, was elected as president-in-waiting.
Setia has served as a past president of AIREA, its vice president from 1993 to 1996, and eight years as vice president of the Punjab Rice Millers Association.
