New York, Jan 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) With the advent of the Internet and the increasing use of technology, the way that jobs are sought has been transformed tremendously.

Many people have found extraordinary success with using the Internet and the many tools that it offers to land their dream job. A growing trend in finding a job on the Internet currently is the use of social networking sites.

Due to increased competition on the job market, job seekers cannot afford anymore to just write an application with a great resume and fold up their hands for that call that may land them the job.

More and more employers are picking up potential employees from social networking sites. Many job seekers search employees of their dream companies. After connecting with the employee, they then start making the necessary enquiries about the company.

It is very advantageous however to contact and link with a person of position in that job. You do not need to start asking for job right away with your first message. After familiarizing yourselves, you can later politely ask if there is a vacancy in the company.

The approach has worked for many and it may work for you too.
