Barack Obama New Delhi, Nov 8 (IANS) As part of its food security initiative, Washington will share India’s hard-earned agricultural expertise with farmers in Africa, US President Barack Obama said Monday.

“As part of our food security initiative, we’re going to share India’s expertise with farmers in Africa,” Obama told Indian lawmakers.

This, according to Obama, is an indication of India’s rise. “We can now export hard-earned expertise” to countries that see India as a model for agricultural development.

“And that’s another powerful example of how American and Indian partnership can address an urgent global challenge,” he added.
