UPS facing technical problems in its tracking system

Los Angeles, Feb 16 (THAINDIAN NEWS) United Parcel Service has revealed that technical challenges have affected its tracking system worldwide. The company announced on Wednesday that several customers throughout the world have reported having problems tracking their packages.

A spokesperson of the company revealed on Wednesday that none of the company’s operations were affected. She assured that none of the delivery seems to have been affected by the technical problems.

Commenting on the technical errors preventing some customers from tracking their parcels, Susan Rosenberg said it is very rare for such an event to take place. The UPS system used for parcel tracking has inbuilt systems to help prevent events like the current problem.

UPS has therefore assured that the company is working around the clock to restore the services.

The Associated Press’ report stated that, “United Parcel Service Inc. spokeswoman Susan Rosenberg said Wednesday that the outages are not affecting the movement of trucks or any other part of the operation. The problem is with some shipping applications that customers use to input and track shipments. Some are reporting problems getting into the system.”

UPS is one of the major courier services in the world. The company’s tracking system is used by shippers from all over the world to track their packages.
