UAE’s mineral water export up 38 percent
December 11th, 2011 - 1:08 am ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, Dec 10 (IANS/WAM) UAE’s mineral water export rose by 38 percent to about 107 million dhirams (about $13 million) in 2010 compared to the figure in the previous year.
Over 60 million litres of mineral water, worth about 50 million dirhams, was exported during the first half of 2011, the foreign trade ministry said Saturday.
Mineral water had been exported to over 25 countries, notably, Afghanistan, Oman and Pakistan, it added.
