UAE’s air traffic grows by 10 percent in January
February 14th, 2011 - 10:50 pm ICT by IANSDubai, Feb 14 (IANS/WAM) The UAE’s air traffic grew at a rate of 10.3 percent in January compared to the corresponding period last year, the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) said in its monthly report Monday. The report showed that the UAE’s air traffic movements in January stood at 57,227, with a daily average of 1,846.
The number of air traffic movements in each UAE airport has been recorded.
Dubai ranked first with 26,134 air traffic movements. Over flights stood next at 12,329. Abu Dhabi ranked third with 8,390.
