UAE, Spain to strengthen economic cooperation
April 16th, 2010 - 1:06 am ICT by IANSMadrid, April 15 (IANS/WAM) The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Spain have agreed to strengthen bilateral economic ties at a meeting of the representatives of the two countries here Thursday.
UAE Minister of Economy Sultan Al Mansouri and Miguel Sebastian, Spainish minister of industry, tourism and commerce, issued a joint statement marking the close of the first meeting of the UAE-Spain Joint Economic Committee.
The two ministers expressed satisfaction over the meetings and said the meeting was the first step towards enhancing economic co-operation between the two countries and elevating it to the level of their excellent bilateral relations in the political sphere.
The two sides also agreed to boost bilateral exchange of goods and services.
