UAE, South Korea seek close trade ties
April 9th, 2011 - 11:23 pm ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, April 9 (IANS/WAM) UAE Foreign Trade Minister Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi held a series of meetings with South Korean officials during her visit to that country to boost bilateral trade and investment, it was announced Saturday.
UAE Ambassador to South Korea Abdullah Mohammad Maaenah also took part in the talks focused on investment and cooperation between the private sectors of both countries.
The UAE minister held extensive talks with her South Korean counterpart Kim Jong-Hoon, during which both sides discussed ways to boost bilateral trade that reached $2.7 billion during the first 10 months of 2010.
