UAE signs civil aviation pact with Bahrain
January 23rd, 2012 - 12:31 am ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, Jan 22 (IANS/WAM) The United Arab Emirates’ General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bahrain.
The pact, meant to promote mutual acceptance of approval of aircraft maintenance organisations, was signed by Saif Al Suwaidi, director general of the GCAA and Captain Abdulrahman Al Goud, under secretary of Bahrain’s Civil Aviation Affairs (CAA).
It was signed on the occasion of Bahrain Airshow 2012, during which Al Suwaidi met with a number of civil aviation directors.
