UAE preferred because of jobs, living conditions
April 21st, 2010 - 4:40 pm ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, April 21 (IANS/WAM) The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a preferred destination for people due to its financial sector, availability of jobs and better living conditions, a latest report has said.
The Gulf region is an attractive destination because of good salaries and demand for foreign expertise, the report by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and the Arab Labour Organisation (ALO) said Tuesday.
The report further praised the steps taken by the Emirates government towards economic integration and plans to issue a unified currency.
