UAE hosts First Exporters Forum
November 8th, 2009 - 10:09 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Dubai, Nov 8 (IANS) The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is hosting the First Exporters Forum here Nov 9, WAM news agency reported Sunday.
The forum brings together heads of Dubai government agencies and local traders, exporters, government employees for boosting the country’s exports.
In 2008, the UAE’s total non-oil exports increased by 66.5 percent, according to the UAE Ministry of Economy.
The forum is organised by the Dubai Export Development Corporation (EDC), and would feature a line-up of distinguished speakers.
The forum is expected to be attended by over 200 companies and an opportunity to discuss issues concerning the export industry through informative panel discussions and meetings with representatives from various government agencies.
