UAE-Germany bilateral trade reaches $8.4 bn
October 27th, 2010 - 11:05 pm ICT by IANSTuttgart (Germany), Oct 27 (IANS/WAM) Germany is UAE’s fourth largest trade partner with bilateral trade reaching $8.4 billion in 2009, accounting for 41 percent of trade exchanges between Germany and all Gulf nations, UAE’s Foreign Trade Minister Sheikha Lubna Al Qassimi said.
Al Qassimi made the remarks Wednesday at the ongoing Global Connect forum in Stuttgart, Germany.
Business leaders from UAE, Germany, Arabian Gulf countries and other regions are participating in the forum.
Global Connect gives data on the economic and political situation, fiscal and legal framework in a particular market.
Al Qassimi said over 700 German companies are operating in the UAE.
