Two Air India flights from Bangalore cancelled
April 29th, 2011 - 9:55 pm ICT by IANSBangalore, April 29 (IANS) Air India Friday cancelled two flights from Bangalore - one to Kolkata and another to Hyderabad - and operated eight flights from here on the third day of strike by a section of its pilots, an airlines spokesperson said.
“Since bookings have been cancelled, there was not much rush and all passengers of cancelled flights were accommodated in other airlines,” the spokesperson told IANS.
The Chennai-Bangalore flight was extended to Chennai-Bangalore-Mumbai and the Delhi-Bangalore to Delhi-Bangalore-Chennai-Delhi, the spokesperson said.
Eeight flights, including these two, were operated, he said.
