toyota_prius_photoMar 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The troubled Japanese carmaker Toyota has more troubles on its way than what is visible. It is still reeling under the massive global recall that has affected millions of cars made by it. It is also trying to resurrect its image in several countries where the customers have become worried about the safety of Toyota cars. It has faced the wrath of the federal government in USA where the carmaker has been asked to clarify the events leading to the recall. A majority of its cars were recalled owing to sticky gas pedal problems. Now the shareholders of the company are enraged with it following a drop in its share price. They have sued the carmaker. Obviously, this is going to add to the woes of the company.

The company has been trying hard for some time to convince the customers that the affected cars will be fitted with proper accessories. It has also asked the dealers to fix the defects in the recalled cars on a priority basis. This may not be the only lawsuit that Toyota may have to face in the near future. The enraged shareholders of Toyota think that company did not act in a transparent way about the faulty gas pedal issue and it has caused the furor resulting in the share price taking a nosedive.

Toyota has got the additional task of dealing with the lawsuit filed by its irate shareholders apart from overcoming the recall woes now. The lawyers of the company are trying to find the best possible way to settle the issue without drawing lot of media attention.
