TI Cycles launches two premium bicycles
October 29th, 2010 - 8:07 pm ICT by IANSChennai, Oct 29 (IANS) TI Cycles, the bicycle division of diversified engineering company Tube Investments, Friday launched two new models, GT and Mongoose, to strengthen its presence in the premium segment.
The GT range of cycles are priced between Rs.17,000 and Rs.27,000. The Mongoose range is sold at Rs.10,000 to Rs.25,000.
Launching the models here, D. Raghuram, division president, told reporters: “The first half sales of premium cycles this year has crossed the annual sales made last year.”
The division sold 4,000 units last year and the target for the current year is 10,000 units.
The other premium cycles the division imports and sell are Cannondale and Schwinn.
The models are available at the BSA GO exclusive stores across the country.
