Technical snag disrupts Metro line for an hour (Lead)
November 29th, 2010 - 1:15 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 28 (IANS) For the second time in nine days, thousands of commuters were stranded Sunday evening as services on Delhi Metro’s Gurgaon-Jahangirpuri line were disrupted for an hour due to a technical snag, a Metro official said. The fault was rectified and the services resumed at 10.36 p.m.
A Metro official told IANS that the fault was due to a problem in the overhead electric wires near the Sultanpur Metro Station and the disruption occurred at around 9.30 p.m., the official said
A major disruption occurred on the Jahangirpuri-Gurgaon section Nov 19 evening, leaving thousands stranded. Full services only resumed the next morning.
