TCS net up 30 percent in third quarter
January 17th, 2011 - 8:51 pm ICT by IANSMumbai, Jan 17 (IANS) Tata Consulting Services (TCS) group posted consolidated net profit of Rs.2,370 crore (Rs.23.70 billion) in the third quarter (October-December) of this fiscal (2010-11), registering about 30 percent year-on-year (YoY) growth over the previous fiscal (2009-10).In a regulatory filing Monday, India’s largest IT bellwether said the group’s total income during the quarter (Q3) under review rose to Rs.9,858 crore, posting 28 percent YoY growth.
On standalone basis, TCS net profit for the quarter shot up 32 percent YoY to Rs.2,052 crore and income 31 percent YoY to Rs.7,764 crore.
