Tata’s Nano wins Autocar ‘Car of the Year’ award
January 16th, 2010 - 2:49 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )Mumbai, Jan 16 (ANI): Tata’s Nano, the world’s cheapest four-wheeler costing around 2,000 dollars was conferred the Autocar ‘Car of the Year’ award.
The Autocar Awards 2010, instituted by Bloomberg UTV, for automotive excellence, were announced at a glittering ceremony in Mumbai.
Ratan Tata, the chairman of Tata Motors Group after receiving the award said, “I would like to accept this award on the behalf of the team at Tata Motors, young engineers who achieved what was considered impossible.”
“I hope that what we have produced gives a lot of people an affordable car and happiness in the years to come,” he added. (ANI)
