Tahiliani to reprise bridal couture extravaganza
June 3rd, 2010 - 8:36 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, June 3 (IANS) Well-known fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani is all set to create an opulent and luxurious experience by bringing together luxury brands for a bridal couture exposition here July 22-25.
Titled “Tarun Tahiliani Bridal Couture Exposition”, this is the second season of the event that will be hosted at the plush DLF Emporio Mall here. The exposition will epitomise a unique heritage, styled in a modern way.
“A wedding is the most important occasion in one’s life. It is the biggest event across all cultures, especially in India,” Tahiliani said in a press statement.
“The Tarun Tahiliani Bridal Couture Exposition is a celebration of the wedding fervour. It brings together each aspect of the celebration under one roof in an ambience that reflects the true spirit and zest of an Indian wedding,” the statement added.
DLF Emporio, Swarovski and Forevermark have come together to support the designer in his celebration of bridal couture.
This year’s theme is “The Procession”, wherein a staggering array of clothes, jewels and accessories will be arranged with live performers on interactive models, fibre glass animals in traditional livery and luxury cars.
This provides a unique platform for brides to select clothes for their trousseau and pick up precious jewellery, luxury watches, travel trunks, handbags, footwear of the best available luxury brands.
The launch of the exposition is expected to be a grand affair.
In 2009, the theme of Tahiliani’s exposition was the different scenes at an Indian wedding.
