rteeJan 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The famous Whistle blower website WikiLeaks is hogging limelight once again and now it is the turn of Swiss Bank to turn red faced. Julian Assange the controversial WikiLeaks founder was given a couple of CDs by ex Swiss Bank employee Rudolf Elmer and the discs reportedly contain the secrets of 2000 wealthy and famous individuals who evaded tax and hid their assets in the Swiss Bank accounts. The ex employee of Julius Baer said that he wants the sordid details of the tax evaders be made public before he returns to Switzerland to face information theft trial. He did not name any of the people involved in the evasion scam but said they were all influential ones including some political bigwigs. He faced the media at the Frontline Club of London with the WikiLeaks founder on Monday.

Julian Assange supported the views of the Ex Swiss Bank worker and said he will examine the content of the CDs and thereafter decide what to do. He also said that some of the secret information may be given to the financial corruption watchdog of Britain. Earlier Wikileaks made USA embarrassed with its revelation of secret war tapes and diplomatic cables that tarnished its diplomatic images. Despite his arrest and international pressure he has vowed that he will carry on with his activities.

The bank, Julius Baer has slammed the developments saying that the man was fired in 2002 and he wants to bring dishonor and infamy to the bank and its customers. It has been said that the exposure, may defame some of the business magnets in Asia and Europe.
