Suzuki launches 805cc cruiser bike
November 28th, 2011 - 8:42 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 28 (IANS) Suzuki Motorcycle Monday launched its 805cc powered cruiser bike Intruder M800, priced at Rs.8.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
“The Intruder M800 is more focused as an entry level. The launch is aimed at expanding our big bikes range in India,” Atul Gupta, vice president sales and marketing, Suzuki Motorcycle India said in a statement.
According to the statement, the new cruiser bike has been launched in 12 cities — Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Ludhiana, Bhubaneshwar, Raipur, Cochin and Bhopal.
The bike is powered by an 805cc fuel-injected eight-valve, V-Twin engine.
“For style the M800 ticks all the cruiser pre-requisites with its muscular, low and long chassis and ample chrome,” the statement added.
Currently, the company offers seven models in India — Access 125, GS150R, SlingShot Plus, Hayabusa - GSX1300R, Intruder - M1800R, Bandit 1250S and the GSX-R1000.
