Texas, Nov.22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Financial advisor and television personality Suze Orman appeared at the 10th Annual Texas Conference for Women, which was held last week in Houston, Texas. Orman was one of the noted speakers of the conference who told her inspirational story to the huge crowd which was present at the event. The event turned out to be a huge success, with many other esteemed speakers ventilating their views which kept the audiences asking for more.

The event witnessed Orman talking at lengths about her life and her experiences from her initial period of struggle to her achievements later on in her career. Orman discussed how she began her life as a waitress at a bakery and to the amusement of the audiences described it as her original career goal. Later, she managed to gather around $50,000 with the aim of opening her own restaurants after working for seven years. Unfortunately, her entire investment went to waste due to her stockbroker’s bad decision. However, later she started working for Merrill Lynch after she enrolled for a training program. At the same time, Orman received her $50,000 back with interest and gradually established herself as a noted financial advisor of repute.

Her success story gave immense inspiration to all the women present at the conference who greeted her with a standing ovation. At the same time, Orman also provided sound financial advice to the audience who hugely appreciated her speech. The Texas Conference for Women is held each year to provide diverse educational options and networking opportunities to the people attending it.
