Sunil Mitra is new disinvestment secretary
July 21st, 2009 - 9:54 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, July 21 (IANS) The government Tuesday appointed West Bengal Power Secretary Sunil Mitra as the new disinvestment secretary.
“The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Sunil Mitra, as secretary in the department of disinvestment, ministry of finance,” an official statement said Tuesday.
Mitra is a 1975 batch IAS officer.
The post of disinvestment secretary was lying vaccant as Rahul Khullar was moved from the disinvestment department to take charge as commerce secretary.
