Sukhoi, Indonesian airline sign $951 mn deal for 30 Superjet-100s
July 19th, 2010 - 11:39 pm ICT by IANSFarnborough, July 19 (IANS/RIA Novosti) Russia’s Sukhoi Civil Aircraft and Indonesia’s regional carrier Kartika Airlines Monday inked a $951 million contract for the delivery of 30 Sukhoi Superjet-100s.
The aircraft will be shipped between 2012 and 2015.
The Superjet-100 is a family of medium-haul passenger aircraft developed by Sukhoi in cooperation with the US and European aviation corporations, including Boeing, Snecma, Thales, Messier Dowty, Liebherr Aerospace and Honeywell.
