Steel Strips Wheels starts supply to Tata Motors
December 30th, 2010 - 5:52 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 30 (IANS) Automobile component manufacturer Steel Strips Wheels Ltd. Thursday said that it has commenced production and supply of wheel rims to Tata Motors from its recently established facility in Jamshedpur.”The company has started the regular production and supply of steel wheel rims to Tata Motors Ltd.from its newly established manufacturing facility at Jamshedpur from Dec 14,” the company said in a regulatory statement.
According to the statement, Tata Motors has validated and approved the heavy commercial wheel rims of the company.
The third plant of the component manufacturer which was inaugurated in July 2010, has a production capacity of one million tube type and tubeless wheels per annum.
