June 26, (THAINDIAN NEWS) On Friday the Starbucks Corp declared that it will temporarily close down its 1600 E. Olive Way store in Seattle in July. The closure will be done for two months during which the store will undergo a major revamp and reopen in the fall with new facilities and inclusions.

The Starbucks Corp executives said that what will emerge after the closure of two months could be called “coffee theater”. The Starbucks Corp promises that the revamped store will not only provide coffee that will taste better, but also adds that customers will get to taste some delicious food items that go well with beer, wine and coffee. Customers will also get the opportunity to customize their foods as some will be freshly made.

According to the executives of Starbucks Corp the renovated store will have indoor-outdoor fireplace and new deck seating along with a 360-degree coffee and wine bar. The cafe will become the first cafe under the banner of Starbucks Corp that will be serving alcohol along with coffee. However, back in 2009 another coffee store was opened in Seattle that served alcohol as well. It does not bear the banner of Starbucks Corps In its aim to make the store more customers friendly the counter-tops will be narrowed down so that the customers can interact with the bar-tenders more conveniently and closely.

Apart from these the single cup coffee will be brewed at a time to get the maximum flavor out of the beans. The regional manager of the Starbucks Corp Kris Engskov said to media sources “It’s going to feel very different”. As for the alcohol business, Sanja Gould the spokeswoman of the company said that the company aims to capture the evening crowd.
