Ayodhya, Dec.1 (ANI): Having witnessed the country facing terrorism at many places, a number of Lord Hanuman devotees here took part in special puja and prayed at the Sri Ram Janambhoomi Temple near Hanumangarhi area .
The Puja was performed to request the Lord to safeguard the country from the dark shadow of terrorism. The devotees said that during this crisis, Lord Hanuman, described to be ultimate saviour in Ramayana, could bless and help everyone in the country.
After performing puja on Thursday, the devotees distributed the Gods offering (prasad), which included sweets, fruits and dry fruits among monkeys as a gesture to please Lord Hanuman, the monkey God.
