Southwest Airlines Face FAA Investigation Third Time

sawestDallas, Feb 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Dallas based airlines company, Southwest Airlines have been once again subjected to the investigations of Federal Aviation Administration or FAA. As per the reports, FAA officials have decided to check whether the airlines company follows all the safety directives that is mandatory for their operations. It has been reported that the airlines company had twice faced such probes earlier and might not have expected that they would be investigated one more time in such a short period.

The reports of FAA’s investigation have been confirmed by the spokesperson of Southwest Airlines. However, they declined to provide much details of the case. Media representatives have tried to contact the officials of FAA and get some insight in to the case. However, the officials of FAA said that the investigation is still in progress and it would be too early to provide any details about it.

Though the officials have not reported much information regarding FAA’s decision to investigate the safety directives of Southwest Airlines, it has been reported that FAA inspectors are doubtful whether federally approved repairing policies are followed in Seattle area and Southwest Airlines for the maintenance of fuselage. Though Southwest Airlines might not have expected to experience three investigations of FAA in a period of only a couple of years, the company officials stated that they would support the works of FAA so that they can conduct their activities smoothly. It has been reported that if the inspectors of FAA prove that the airlines is not following proper safety measures, then they can claim huge fines from the company.
