Somalia hails UAE’s humanitarian efforts
September 16th, 2011 - 1:24 am ICT by IANSMogadishu, Sep 15 (IANS/WAM) Somalia has lauded UAE government’s support to the people of Somalia who are affected by the drought in the Horn of Africa.
Receiving the UAE medical delegation headed by Adel Al Shamri, director of Emirates world humanitarian mobile hospital, the Somali minister Abdul Aziz Al Sheikh Yusuf said the mobile hospital represents the highest humanitarian work.
Khadem Al Daraei, head of team supervising the mobile hospitals, said the UAE leadership wants easing Somali people’s sufferings.
