New Delhi, May 28 (IANS) Popular fruit drinks concentrate maker Rasna, which has presence in 40 countries, is hoping to enter “The Guinness Book of Records” with its 10 feet tall and six feet wide drinking glass, which was unveiled here Thursday.
The current registered largest drinking glass is 8.5 feet tall and five feet wide and is placed in Florida, US.

“We have applied to the Guinness Book and they have already accepted our application. We are sure to break the previous record,” Piruz Khambatta, Rasna’s chairman and managing director, told IANS at the unveiling here Thursday.

The glass can hold 3,300 litres.

Rasna is organising a four-day mega carnival here that started Thursday at the DLF mall in Saket. The carnival targets kids and will have magic shows, a tattoo parlour and more.

“This carnival is going to be jam packed with fun, excitement and lots of surprises for our valued customers and the people around here. By this we will be able to get closer to our customers and be a part of their life,” Khambatta said.
