SkodaIndia sells 2,050 vehicles in MarchApril 1st, 2008 - 8:57 pm ICT by admin
Pune, April 1 (IANS) SkodaIndia, a wholly owned subsidiary of Czech Republic-based carmaker Skoda Auto, Tuesday announced a growth of 27.2 percent in sales last month. The company in its statement said it has sold 2,050 units in March against the sales of 1,612 units in the same period of 2007.
The sales figure includes 702 units of its super hatch model SkodaFabia.
SkodaIndia has been operating in the country since November 2001. The automobile manufacturer has set up a manufacturing facility in Shendra near Aurangabad, Maharashtra.
Besides Fabia, Skoda now has 11 models in India. It has a network of 54 dealerships across the country and has sold over 51,000 units since November 2001.
