Sibal to introduce new telcom policy draft Monday
October 7th, 2011 - 10:18 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 7 (IANS) The government Friday said it would release the draft of the new telecommunications policy Monday.
“Kapil Sibal, minister of communications and information technology, will announce draft national telecommunications policy-2011,” said an official statement, adding that the minister would hold a press conference in the national capital on Monday.
The draft of the new telecom policy is expected to address various issues like allocation of spectrum, pricing procedure for licenses and tariff norms.
